To be eligible for the one-off rapid antigen test benefit, a member must have Extras cover that is financial at the date the rapid antigen test kit is purchased.
Astute Simplicity Health will pay a benefit up to the value of $20 towards the purchase of a rapid antigen test kit for each Extras policy. The benefit limit applies to the policy, not to each person covered by the policy.
Members can purchase their rapid antigen test kit from any registered supplier in Australia.
Members must submit a receipt (or proof of payment) showing the date the rapid antigen test kit was purchased, test name, fee paid and where possible the name of person purchasing the rapid antigen test kit.
Where a member in unable to provide a receipt with the name of the person purchasing the test kit the benefit will be processed in the name of the person on the membership who submits the claim.

Astute Simplicity Health will not pay a benefit where reimbursement is available to be claimed from any other source.
Members must have an Extras policy and have served the 2-month waiting period for Extras services.
The rapid antigen test benefit is a once only offer and is available for rapid antigen test kits purchased between December 22, 2021 to and including December 31, 2022. The benefit does not reset at the end of the calendar year.
